Ah my dear Singapore, despite all your antics that are questionable and invite grief, and all my travels and plans to relocate and be of service elsewhere, thank you for being a land where I can call my home. And even through all my travels and adventures, I wake up most days and thank God I've been born and raised in Singapore – for the beautiful souls I've had the blessing to meet, for the amazing education I've received, for the many opportunities I've been able to grab, for the pathways of growth I get to explore, for the multiples languages I can claim my own, and for the comfort and safety of knowing I can be where I am meant to be. Thank you for showing me what true love means – that it isn't about perfection in the other that we demand, but in a symbiotic relationship that strives to improve together. We're still a work- in-progress, so may we never take our place in the world for granted. Happy 51st National Day. Always your daughter, Atikah Amalina

We've closed our crowdfunding campaign on Friday and we wanted to say a huuuuge thank you to everyone who has supported our cause! We didn't hit our final goal but we've managed to raise about 65% of our target and this will definitely help keep our site and mobile app running for a bit longer. For everyone who has contributed to our campaign, we'll be contacting you very soon! We also have pretty exciting news coming up this couple weeks and we can't wait to share them with you! Do continue supporting HHWT by sharing our articles, downloading our mobile app (link in bio!) and leaving reviews on both Google Play and iTunes store :) This will really help us a lot! #hhwt #havehalalwilltravel
