Following the unfortunate incident that took place on Saturday evening at Leytonstone Station, whereby a 29 year old knifeman by the name of Muhaydin Mire attacked a 56 year old man, the internet went crazy on Sunday morning following a video that went viral as a bystander was heard shouting “YOU AINT NO MUSLIM BRUV!”

As always, British Muslims took to Twitter condemning the attacker and highlighting that these actions hold no correlation to Islamic teachings and principles.

The #Leytonstone stabber is known to have mental health issues. Watch how Islam gets blamed anyway #YouAintNoMuslimBruv

Whilst purely politically motivated attacks have taken place in the past, it appears in this case the perpetrator did have mental health issues which were not dealt with effectively by local authorities, as mentioned by the family.
