Core Team

The Muslim Vibe is looking for a dedicated and creative person to join our team as a social media manager. We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer our social media accounts on a part-time basis.

The responsibilities of a social media manager include: 

  • Creating a content plan based on an agreed strategy
  • Generating ideas for new content on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Designing original content in line with our brand and templates on Canva
  • Copywriting original content for social media designs and captions
  • Working with our advertisers and brand partners to create sponsored content
  • Responding to messages and comments across all platforms
  • Administration for all social media accounts on all platforms

As a social media manager you will be required to have:

  • Experience in managing multiple social media accounts for a brand
  • Experience in designing content such as Instagram carousels
  • Experience in creating short-form video content (Reels and TikToks)
  • A good understanding of social media and cultural trends
  • A deep understanding of the issues affecting Muslims worldwide
  • Ability to work out of hours if and when required (e.g. Breaking news)
  • Ability to be able to work with a team to generate cool ideas
  • Good time-management and organisational skills
  • Ability to write copy that is engaging and friendly
