The Muslim Vibe (TMV) is a grassroots media platform with an aim to inspire, inform and empower Western Muslims; through powerful and engaging Islamic content. Our platform exists for Muslims to be able to reclaim their narrative, and share their own experience and ideas. We are always seeking to work with talented content creators to produce engaging and Islamic content.

Events Manager (freelance)

The Muslim Vibe is looking for someone who has experience in coordinating events; finding and booking venues, guests and catering. You will be expected to liaise with our in-house team to ensure event arrangements are made to the highest standard and in line with our vision. The perfect candidate for this job is someone in the UK, preferably London.

TMV will pay the successful candidate on a per-event basis, taking into consideration the varying time it will take based on different event sizes. Experience in putting together events is required.

East Asia Editor (freelance)

The Muslim Vibe is looking to grow its editorial team with a regional focus, as such, we are looking for an editor who will oversee the East Asia region (including China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia). The responsibilities of the East Asia Editor includes; being aware of all the latest news and developments which affect East Asian Muslims and maintaining close relationships with respective Muslim leaders and organisations.

As a freelance editor, you will be expected to write at least 2-3 articles a month and will be paid per article.

Africa Editor (freelance)

The Muslim Vibe is looking to grow its editorial team with a regional focus, as such, we are looking for an editor who will oversee the Africa region (focusing on Sub-Saharan Africa, including areas of North Africa). The responsibilities of the Africa Editor includes; being aware of all the latest news and developments which affect Muslims in Africa and maintaining close relationships with relevant Muslim leaders and organisations.

As a freelance editor, you will be expected to write at least 2-3 articles a month and will be paid per article.

Latin American Editor (freelance)

The Muslim Vibe is looking to grow its editorial team with a regional focus, as such, we are looking for an editor who will oversee the Latin American region (including Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America). The responsibilities of the Latin American Editor includes; being aware of all the latest news and developments which affect Muslims in Latin America and maintaining close relationships with relevant Muslim leaders and organisations.

As a freelance editor, you will be expected to write at least 2-3 articles a month and will be paid per article.

Oceania Editor (freelance)

The Muslim Vibe is looking to grow its editorial team with a regional focus, as such, we are looking for an editor who will oversee the Oceania region (including Australia, New Zealand, and Polynesia/Micronesia). The responsibilities of the Oceania Editor includes; being aware of all the latest news and developments which affect Muslims in Oceania and maintaining close relationships with relevant Muslim leaders and organisations.

As a freelance editor, you will be expected to write at least 2-3 articles a month and will be paid per article.
