This year, The Muslim Vibe is teaming up with Penny Appeal to help raise charity money for families in need around the world! By donating your Qurbani, Penny Appeal will use this money to distribute meals to families in need in countries like Pakistan, Ethiopia, India, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Nigeria, Nepal, Somalia, Myanmar, Malawi and Palestine, ensuring families around the world can celebrate a full Eid Al-Adha.
We’re looking to find 100 people to join us and help provide 5,700 meals for families in need!

Qurbani is the religious sacrifice of sheep, goats, and cattle between the 10th and 12th days of Dhul Hijjah, the final month of the Islamic calendar right before the holiday of Eid Al-Adha.
It is a sacred act to honour the tradition of the blessed Prophet Ibrahim (as) and Ismail (as) and their story of sacrifice and devotion to Allah (swt). Sacrificed meat is distributed among the poor and needy across the globe, in an example of charity and love to God.
Last year, Penny Appeal was able to provide meals to over one million people across the world with donated Qurbanis. This year, let us hope that we can reach the same target and more, and help families around the globe celebrate Eid with the dignity and joy we all deserve.
The Prophet (saw) said: “It is the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim (as). For every hair of the Qurbani you receive a reward from Allah (swt).”
