In this powerful clip, Nouman Ali Khan takes us through the 2 reasons ‘good’ Muslims commit sins – fascinatingly tackling not only the spiritual side but also the often ignored psychological side as well. Psychologically, certain settings and situations “trigger” chemicals in your brain that make you want to do certain things. Therefore we first need to identify when/where the sin happens; so that these can be changed.

Spiritually, we repeat the same mistakes over and over again, hence why our sins are repeating over and over. Unless there is a clear intention never do repeat the sin again when repenting, we may find ourselves back in the same trap.
