The search for Britain’s best amateur baker is back as the Great British Bake Off team are looking for 12 passionate baking fans to compete for the 2018 title. Each week, the competitors will be faced with three challenges; they incorporate a signature bake, which tests the bakers’ personality and creative flair; a technical bake, which tests experience; and a showstopper bake, during which the bakers are able to showcase their depth of skill and talent.Â

We’re looking for a fresh batch of brilliant, amateur bakers to dough battle and enter the tent. If you fancy putting your skills to the test, apply now and prove what you’re made of. Or… if you know someone up for the challenge, give them a crème pat on the back and persuade them to apply!
