As Israel’s genocidal onslaught on Gaza continues past its third month, and as we enter the new year, the news coming out from Gaza only continues to bear horrifying statistics.

Here are just a few statistics on what the reality of genocide is like in Gaza – despite world leaders struggling to uphold their narrative, we hope that the people of the world continue to unite, protest, and show solidarity with Palestine.

  • At least 21,822 people have been killed in Gaza. Many human rights groups claim this number is higher, and if we include the number of those still missing under the rubble, the number rises to at least 30,034.
  • At least 6,300 women have been killed, and 8,800 children murdered by Israel’s onslaught.
  • Israel’s bombing has severely injured 56,451 Palestinians.
  • At least 1,920,000 Palestinians have been displaced from the ongoing genocide – and this number continues to rise by the day.
  • 104 journalists have been killed – many say assassinated – by Israel’s army.
  • Israel has targeted and destroyed 164 healthcare facilities. This includes 23 hospitals, 57 clinics, and 84 ambulances.
  • 236 Palestinian healthcare professionals have been killed by Israel’s bombing – many while working in the hospitals and clinics that Israel specifically targeted.
  • Israel has destroyed 198 heritage sites in Gaza. In addition, at least 191 mosques and 3 churches have been heavily damaged.
  • 316 schools in Gaza have been severely damaged by Israel’s bombing.
  • At least 67,214 homes in Gaza have been completely destroyed – with another 178,600 homes severely damaged and unfit for living.
