Thanks to your amazing generosity over Ramadan, we were able to hit our £10,000 target, Alhamdulillah. 

Your donations have gone towards making Gaza a safer place for Palestinians, by providing life-saving medicine, training for medical staff, and ensuring vital procedures and emergency care are now available. 

You helped give treatment to thousands of sick and injured people in Gaza:

• Vital medicine was provided to a total of 4,702 patients 
• 5,247 check-ups, treatments, and simple operations for Palestinians in Gaza were provided for

Thanks to you, Penny Appeal delivered training for medical staff in three clinics around Gaza on the following:

• 23 doctors and 50 nurses working in the Emergency Department of the Al-Aqsa hospital were trained on treatment strategies after bullet injuries, wound emergency care, post-op care and complications, referral systems, wound care, and infection preventions
• 12 nurses at three primary health care clinics have received on-the-job training in post-op and emergency care
• 3 medical procedures (open, burn, or sutured wounds) and one pain management protocol were developed, approved, and implemented in their clinics

With 17 hospitals, 56 primary health facilities, and 45 ambulances destroyed or damaged in the past 11 years in Gaza, gaining access to medical care is one of the biggest issues Gazans face today. Your generosity has made a massive difference to thousands of vulnerable Palestinian people – thank you!
